Virgin Active operates 11 world-class health clubs in Sydney and Melbourne. With a huge range of classes, spacious training areas, modern equipment, swimming pools, spas, saunas, child care and much more, Virgin Active has just about everything you need to reach your fitness goals.
A number of Virgin Active clubs provide specialised training programs and activities through Club-V for children aged 3-12 as well as a dedicated Progressions Zone for teenagers with a range of dedicated group classes available. Swimming lessons and aqua classes are available at locations that have swimming pool facilities.

Virgin Active opening hours differ for each location. Clubs closest to the CBD tend to have reduced hours on weekends and public holidays than those further out given they target working professionals.
Membership and Pricing Guide
Memberships are available on a long term or short term basis with long term contracts being the cheapest option. Student discounts are available but standard pricing starts from around $34 per week ($147 per month). This can vary by $1-$2 per week depending on the location. The Barangaroo club in Sydney, known as a ‘Collection Club’ has a different offering and membership is more expensive at $60 per week ($260 per month).
Virgin Active allows members under 18 to join with restrictions. For ages 13-15, there is limited access to certain areas of the club and specific classes. For more information, check out their teen rules. For 16-17 year-olds, a parent/guardian is required to sign the membership agreement. Check with your local club to find out about any other conditions of membership for under 18’s.
