175 locations in Australia
Pricing starts at less than $12 per week

Jetts has around 180 locations across Australia, 280 worldwide in countries like NZ, Netherlands, UK, Thailand and Vietnam, and around 200,000 members. This makes them one of the largest gym brands in Australia. They offer relatively small-sized clubs with 24/7 access and have a focus on no lock-in contracts at low prices. They also claim to be “Australia’s most loved gym”.

Jetts focus on getting members into the best physical shape of their lives in the least amount of time. They do this by not just providing standard training facilities but also having regular fitness challenges and 30-minute high-intensity interval training (or HIIT) classes.

If you’re looking for a range of group classes like pilates, yoga, spin and barre, you won’t find them at Jetts. In this case, you’d be better off looking at joining a more expensive health club-style facility like Fitness First, Genesis, Goodlife, Virgin Active or Fernwood. There are also many independent options that you can easily find in your local area using our map-based search tool.

Jetts operates under a franchise model which means each location is individually owned. Whilst many things are common across all clubs, you will find some small differences. The atmosphere and general environment at each location is also heavily influenced by the owner. It’s therefore important to realise that a good or bad experience at one location isn’t always representative of all Jetts clubs.

Facilities and Services

All Jetts locations provide a variety of equipment to suit most training styles and needs. Cardio zones have the usual cross-trainers, bikes, rowers, steppers and treadmills. There are free-weights with dumbbells, barbells and various benches if you’re looking to do strength training. You’ll also find a variety of pin-loaded weight machines that are great for beginner to intermediate level weight training. Open areas for stretching and bodyweight exercises are also available. Some locations also provide functional training zones with TRX, kettlebells, medicine balls, bands, battle ropes, etc.

Many Jetts clubs now participate in the J Series program. This provides 30 minute HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) team training in a fun (and loud music) environment. J Series is a combination of HIIT style cardio, strength and fusion training completed in a circuit of 6 stations that delivers a full-body workout. Access to the J Series program is only available through a premium level membership. For more information, visit the Jetts J Series page.

Personal training is available at Jetts but is an additional cost on top of your membership. Each club has its own group of Personal Trainers (PT) operating out of the facility and each PT can specialise in different areas. If using a PT is going to be a core part of your training, it’s best to do some research to see if the PT’s operating out of your preferred club meet your specific requirements. The good thing about Jetts is their no lock-in contracts mean that if you can’t find a PT that you like, you can always cancel your membership and try another gym.

Jetts gyms provide water fountains, sanitising wipes and toilets. You’ll also find change rooms and shower facilities which make it easy to train either before work, after work or during a lunch break.

Opening Hours

Jetts is open for you to train 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, you will need to check with your local club if you require support as the staffed hours are more limited. Staffed hours are usually better than at some other 24/7 gyms like Anytime Fitness. You will often see personal trainers around the gym with their clients, even outside of staffed hours. If you have an urgent question when there are no staff present, you can always ask them.

Age Restrictions

Jetts allows members to join from as young as 14 years of age. Members under 16 can only attend during staffed hours. Members 16 and older can train at any time. These restrictions are quite flexible for younger people compared to other gyms like Anytime Fitness and Zap Fitness. This makes Jetts a good option for people under 18 years of age.

If you are under 18 and want to join Jetts, you’ll need to get a parent or guardian to agree to the terms of the Membership Agreement. You should always visit your local Jetts club with your parent/guardian to ensure you familiarise yourself with the facilities, age restrictions and policies of the club prior to joining.

Jetts Pricing

Jetts has two main types of membership. The no lock-in contract starts at $14.95 per week ($12.95 if you join with a friend using the Jetts Mates Rates deal). The Advance 12 Month Membership allows you to pay in advance for 12 months for the discounted rate of $649 (about $12.50 per week). Unlimited access to the J Series program is an additional $19.95 per week (total of $34.90 per week).

A joining fee of $89 is payable as well as a once-off $79 ‘Club Access Fee’. As a result, you are up for $168 in startup costs. Some of these fees may be waived from time to time so remember to ask about special offers. You can also see the latest deals by checking out our latest offers page.

Casual and holiday passes are also available which could be a good idea if you want to try out the facilities. Ask at your local Jetts club for more information on these options.

Jetts also offers potential new members a free trial.

As each Jetts club is individually owned and subject to different state-based regulations, you should always read and confirm your own clubs’ Membership Agreement and terms and conditions. All the terms and conditions of membership can be found on the Jetts website here. You’ll also find some answers to your membership questions in our FAQ’s section.

If you are on a 12 month paid in advance membership plan, you can cancel your membership for the reason of permanent sickness or physical incapacity which prevents you from using the club. To receive a refund of any unused fees, you must provide a medical certificate as evidence.

Can I access all Jetts gyms or just the one I join?

You can use your membership to visit other Jetts clubs immediately after your membership is activated. When you use a club for the first time, you must swipe your access pass then wait 20 seconds before swiping again. For future visits to that club, you only need to swipe once.

Will someone show me how to use the equipment before I start?

All new members must complete a 45-minute orientation with the Club Manager to become familiarised with the equipment and safety procedures.

Can I put my membership on hold?

You can put your membership on hold for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 8 weeks in any 12 months.

Can I access group training classes at Jetts clubs?

Some clubs will run a limited number of indoor and outdoor group fitness classes. There may or may not be an additional charge for access to these classes depending on the individual club.

Are sessions with a Personal Trainer included in my membership?

Access to personal trainers is subject to availability and is an additional cost to your membership fees.

How old do I need to be to join Jetts?

The minimum age to join Jetts is 14 and all minors (under 18 years of age) must have a parent or guardian agree to the terms of the Membership Agreement.

Members aged 14-15 can only use the club during staffed hours. They must also complete an initial pre-exercise assessment and orientation with a parent or guardian in attendance.

Members aged 16-17 can access the club at any time.

The minimum age to join the J Series is 16.

Not Great, but OK.

For the last 4-5 years, this place has turned to crap. Machines are constantly broken, outdated and the place is a mess. They are the worst at communication. Post COVID, they claim to be open 6-8 pm or something but it's false and they blame it on some security stuff. Doesn't seem they even care about their members. This gym is good for people who have no goals and just want to sign up for a gym to feel good about themselves later with no progression at all. Do yourself a favour and join a proper gym.
